Who and what this policy covers
Love Out Loud operates this website and determines how its profile, enquiry, and support information is used. This policy covers our service, not independently operated websites or ChatGPT. Contact the operator using Help & Requests, choosing Privacy request. You do not have to create a profile to make a request.
Information we collect
- Account information supplied by ChatGPT sign-in: a site-specific user identifier, email address, and optional display name. We do not receive your ChatGPT password, conversations, or payment card details through sign-in.
- Private messaging information: conversation participants, text, send times, read markers, new-conversation preferences, and blocks. Private message reports include the reported text, your reason, and a private status receipt. Messages are stored on the server and are not end-to-end encrypted. Do not send passwords, financial details, intimate content, or sensitive documents.
- Profile information you submit: both partners’ first names, optional last names or initials, city, state or region, country, relationship status, bio, media files, original filenames, and creation or update dates.
- Records of your publishing permission, age confirmation, and terms acceptance, including the policy version and time. We ask for an adult confirmation, not a birth date or identity document.
- Advertising enquiries: business and contact name, email, website, city, state, category, advertising plan, message, and review status. PayPal payments use the merchant-hosted button; Zelle payments are sent through your bank. We save the payer name, reported payment date, advertisement reference, PayPal receipt reference when applicable, review status, and confirmed advertising dates. The owner checks completed receipts in the business PayPal account or bank. A fingerprint of the merchant transaction or bank transfer reference helps prevent the same receipt being credited twice. Automatically verified checkout requires a completed live merchant connection. PayPal, and Stripe if separately enabled, collect payment and billing information during checkout. Apple Pay may be available through PayPal on eligible devices and registered domains; we store payment references, amount, status, and the advertisement’s paid-through date, not your card number.
- Help and safety requests: category, contact details, links or descriptions identifying content, your explanation, any required declaration and electronic signature, optional privacy-request details, status, and our response. Do not include an intimate image, identification document, password, or payment number.
- Technical data processed when the site is accessed: request and connection information such as IP address and browser data may be handled by the hosting and authentication providers. Our page-view table stores daily totals rather than visitor identifiers. For abuse prevention on the request form, we keep a temporary hash based on a request address and time window, not the raw address in that table.
Public information and sensitive details
Publishing makes your profile fields, media, and filenames public to all visitors, including people who are not signed in. They may be indexed, downloaded, or reshared. Relationships and photos may reveal sensitive facts, including sexual orientation or beliefs, even though we do not ask you to identify those traits. A single adult may create the profile. Share thoughtfully, respect image and privacy rights, and do not publish protected private information unlawfully. Your account email, account identifier, advertising contact details, and help request are not included in public responses. Messages are available to the participating accounts; recipients may copy or share what you send. The owner can review reported message text and related report details. Messages are not included in public profiles, search, or the feed. Approved and paid advertisements publish the business name, category, city, state, website, and advertisement text; the contact name and email remain private. Public visibility does not authorize people to misuse or commercially harvest your information. We do not strip all embedded file metadata; remove location or other private metadata before uploading.
How we use information
Where a law requires a legal basis, service administration relies on the applicable agreement or steps you request before an agreement; security and moderation rely on legitimate interests balanced against individual rights and legal obligations; voluntary public disclosure of your own sensitive profile information relies on your explicit publishing permission; information about others must have a lawful basis and permission when the law requires it. You may withdraw that permission by removing content or requesting removal. Withdrawal does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful. We do not make legal or similarly significant decisions solely through automated profiling.
- Provide profile publishing, search, media display, account controls, private messaging, and requested support.
- Maintain permission records, enforce rules, detect abuse, process removal requests, prevent identical restricted media from being uploaded again, and meet legal duties.
- Review and respond to business enquiries. An enquiry is not consent to an unrelated marketing list.
- Measure traffic using aggregate daily totals and maintain the site. We do not use profile relationship information to build behavioral advertising audiences.
Sharing and service providers
We use OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare hosting, database, and file storage infrastructure; ChatGPT provides authentication. PayPal, Apple Pay through PayPal when eligible, and Stripe if separately enabled handle payment and necessary billing information when checkout is enabled. Providers may process necessary technical data under their own applicable terms and privacy information. Access to private enquiry and help information is limited to the site operator and providers needed to run the service. We may disclose limited information when required by valid legal process, necessary to protect people or prevent fraud, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate notice and safeguards. A report’s relevant allegations may need to be shared with an affected uploader or legal authority; we avoid unnecessary disclosure of reporter contact details. Advertisers do not receive private member accounts or a list of couples from us. An advertiser and a member who message one another can see the text they exchange, along with their public display names. Public profile information remains visible to everyone.
Sale, sharing, tracking, and cookies
We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, use advertising pixels, or enable personalized advertising. We do not use third-party analytics cookies. Authentication and hosting can use necessary cookies or similar mechanisms. Our own page counter does not assign a visitor identifier and skips requests when it receives a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. These signals do not disable necessary security or sign-in functions. Independently visited merchant or ChatGPT websites may collect information under their own policies. If we introduce optional tracking or materially different data uses, we will update this policy and obtain any legally required consent before enabling them. See Cookie & Tracking Information for details.
Retention and deletion
Profiles and uploaded media are kept while published or needed to provide your account’s profile. Removing a profile deletes its active profile record and uploaded files from our storage; removing a moment deletes that active file and record. Limited permission records, complaints, restrictions, or other information may remain where reasonably necessary for safety, legal duties, dispute handling, or fraud prevention. Removing a public profile does not remove existing conversations or a recipient’s copy of messages. Messages are kept to provide conversation history; use Help & Requests to request deletion of messaging data, subject to applicable rights, safety needs, and lawful retention. You can stop new conversations in Messages and block individual accounts. Enquiries and help records are kept while needed to respond and administer the relationship, and are reviewed for deletion when no longer needed. Temporary form abuse-prevention hashes are eligible for deletion after 48 hours and are cleaned up during subsequent submissions. Nonidentifying daily totals may be retained longer. Provider backups, legal preservation obligations, and external caches can follow different retention periods; we cannot delete another person’s lawful copies or erase your separate ChatGPT account.
Your choices and rights
Use Our Profile to see, correct, or remove your story and media. Your signed-in data download includes your messaging history. Messaging requires an adult couple profile or adult business submission; account sign-in and confirmation do not independently verify age. Check Messages for incoming messages; this service does not send email or push notifications. Use Help & Requests for access, a copy, correction, deletion of other site data, withdrawal of permission, objection, restriction, portability, or review of a prior privacy response. Indicate which right you are requesting and your jurisdiction if helpful. Depending on applicable law, residents of U.S. states and the EEA, UK, or other regions may have additional rights, including an appeal or a complaint to their regulator. We will assess the law that applies, respond within its required period, explain a lawful denial or extension, and not discriminate for exercising a right. Authorized agents may submit requests; we may ask only for information reasonably needed to verify authority and identity. We will not require a public profile or excessive identification to report harmful content. Some records may be retained where a lawful exception applies.
Children, international processing, and security
The profile service is for adults 18 and older and is not directed to children. Do not publish children’s images or information. If we learn that a child has submitted a profile or personal information in violation of these rules, we will restrict access, remove information as required, and take appropriate follow-up steps. Reporting harmful content is available regardless of age. Our infrastructure and providers may process information in the United States or other locations. Where cross-border privacy rules apply, required safeguards and rights must be honored; this notice is not a waiver of them. We use the protections described in Security & Safety, but no online service can guarantee complete security. Report a suspected vulnerability through Help & Requests.
Policy updates
This policy is effective October 8, 2026. Changes will appear here with a new effective date. For material changes, we will give a conspicuous site notice or another appropriate notice, and obtain a new affirmative permission when legally required before changing the use of information. Previous acceptance records identify the policy version accepted.
